What exactly is EcoFlourish powered by PURE CV?
EcoFlourish powered by Pure CV is a freshwater microalgae-based plant biostimulant. It is built on Chlorella vulgaris technology, with a refined and concentrated commercial formulation.
It is designed to work alongside the fertility program a grower already uses. Its role is to support roots, plant response, nutrient efficiency, rhizosphere activity, and resilience.
It is not a fertilizer. It is not a pesticide. It is not a disease-control product. It is a biostimulant.
Is EcoFlourish a fertilizer
No. EcoFlourish is a biostimulant, not a fertilizer.
A fertilizer delivers macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) and other nutritional inputs directly to the plant. A biostimulant supports plant function, which can include nutrient uptake efficiency, but it doesn’t replace the nutrient delivery itself.
The distinction matters because EcoFlourish is designed to work beside the fertility program a grower already uses, not in place of it.
Will EcoFlourish replace my fertilizer program?
No, and we won’t claim that it does.
We’ve seen growers reduce or refine their fertility program over time as they learn how their crop responds. But we don’t promise a fixed percentage of fertilizer reduction across all crops and systems, because that kind of universal claim doesn’t hold up across the variability of real operations.
The honest position is: keep the fertility program that works for you. Add EcoFlourish beside it. Judge the result by what you see in your own crop.
Does EcoFlourish control, pests, diseases, or weeds?
No.
EcoFlourish is a biostimulant. We do not make any pesticidal, disease-control, or weed-control claims, and we won’t.
We’ve seen field observations where treated plants showed reduced pest pressure or stronger plant response under disease conditions. We present those as observations, not as control claims. They are not a substitute for an integrated pest and disease management program.
Is EcoFlourish organic?
Yes, EcoFlourish is powered by Pure CV™, a freshwater microalgae-based biostimulant.
Pure CV Grow™ and Pure CV-Hydro™ are OMRI Listed® in the United States for use in certified organic production, and Pure CV-Grow™ is also OMRI Listed® under Canada’s organic standards.
OMRI listing means these specific Pure CV products have been independently reviewed and determined to be allowable in certified organic production when used according to their approved directions. As with any agricultural input, certified organic growers should confirm the exact product and intended use with their organic certifying agent.
How does freshwater microalgae actually support plants?
Chlorella vulgaris is approximately 45% protein, 20% lipids, 20% carbohydrates, and 10% vitamins and minerals, with a rich profile of essential amino acids and bioactive compounds.
When applied as a soil amendment or foliar spray, it contributes to rhizosphere biological activity, supports root development and architecture, and may influence how plants utilize nutrients and respond to stress.

What crops is EcoFlourish appropriate for?
EcoFlourish has been used and observed on a range of crops, including cannabis (propagation and full cycle), Yukon Gold potatoes, winter wheat, tomatoes, blueberries, squash, cabbage, Scotch Bonnet peppers, azaleas, beans, jalapenos, and others.
The right question is not “what crops does it work on” but “where does it earn its place in a specific operation.” Crop value, system, fertility integration, and application method all factor into whether it makes sense.

What's the application protocol?
No. EcoFlourish is a biostimulant, not a fertilizer.
A fertilizer delivers macronutrients
The protocol depends on the crop, the growing system, the application method available to you, and the goal.
We do not present a single universal dilution rate or schedule because that would set growers up for the wrong test. What we can do is share how EcoFlourish and Pure CV have actually been applied in documented examples:
- Cannabis propagation: weekly hand-drench
- Tomato (irrigation): 25 ml per gallon, every 2 weeks
- Blueberry (foliar + soil): 1 part product to 20 parts water, every 2 weeks
- Yukon Gold potato (soil amendment): 1:10 dilution
- Mixed-site (vegetables, ornamentals): 2 oz per gallon, biweekly

Does EcoFlourish work in CEA and hydroponic systems?
Yes—absolutely.
EcoFlourish powered by Pure CV-Hydro™ is formulated for controlled-environment agriculture (CEA), hydroponic, soilless, cloning, and propagation systems.
In commercial cannabis propagation at Canna-Tech in Phoenix, Arizona, Pure CV-Hydro was applied weekly as a hand drench during cloning and propagation. The trial documented stronger root development, reduced plant stress, and shorter vegetative cycles. No biofilm formation or irrigation clogging was observed during the trial.
Application rates and delivery methods should be matched to the crop and system. Contact our team for a recommended protocol or begin with a defined side-by-side trial.
How quickly can you see results?
Depending on the crop, growing conditions, and application method, visible differences can appear in as little as one to two weeks. Growers have observed improvements in root development, plant vigor, uniformity, color, and recovery compared with untreated controls.
These early differences are encouraging, but they are not the final measurement. Commercial trials should continue through the crop’s full growth cycle so root development, biomass, yield, quality, stress response, and overall performance can be properly evaluated against the control.
Can applying too much EcoFlourish harm my crop?
EcoFlourish has a wide margin of application safety. Because it is a freshwater microalgae-based biostimulant—not a conventional fertilizer—it does not carry the same fertilizer-burn risk associated with excessive nutrient salts. Applying somewhat more than the recommended rate is not expected to damage the crop under normal growing conditions.
However, more EcoFlourish does not automatically produce a greater response. Once the optimal application rate is reached, additional product has not demonstrated a meaningful added benefit—it simply increases cost. For the strongest crop response and best return on investment, follow the recommended crop-specific rate and application schedule.

Is the science peer-reviewed?
The category-level science on Chlorella vulgaris is well-established and includes peer-reviewed work going back decades, across European, Asian, and American agricultural research. What's the "413% yield" number I've seen referenced?
That number comes from the Yukon Gold potato field trial in coastal South Carolina. Pure CV-treated Yukon Gold potato plants yielded 300% more weight than untreated potatoes and 413% more weight than the compost-only comparison group.
That is a real result, in a specific crop, on a specific soil type, under specific irrigation and application protocols. It is not a universal claim. We do not say “EcoFlourish increases yield by 413%.” We say “in a Yukon Gold potato field trial in coastal South Carolina, Pure CV-treated plants yielded 413% more weight than the compost-only comparison group.” The context matters.
How does EcoFlourish compare to other biostimulants on the market?
We don’t make head-to-head comparison claims against other biostimulants.
EcoFlourish is built on freshwater microalgae and Chlorella vulgaris technology. Other biostimulants are built on different inputs: seaweed extracts, humic and fulvic acids, amino acid blends, microbial inoculants, plant extracts. They work through different mechanisms and have different evidence bases.

What won't you claim about EcoFlourish?

How do I run a trial in my operation?

What does a typical trial look like?
A serious trial usually includes:

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
We do not advertise a money-back guarantee on the website, because the right way to evaluate a biostimulant isn’t through a return policy. It’s through a well-designed trial that tells you whether the product earns its place in your operation.

Who is John Marini and why does he run PureGrowth?
John founded PureGrowth Distribution because EcoFlourish powered by Pure CV deserved a serious commercial platform, not another hype-driven product launch.
His background is executive leadership, business development, and disaster recovery. He spent 27 years with Adjusters International (now Rising Phoenix Holdings Corp.), eventually serving as CEO. His work has touched major recovery operations including Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Katrina, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, 9/11, and the Oklahoma City bombing.

Is John an agronomist
No. John does not claim credentials he doesn’t have. He is not a licensed agronomist, crop consultant, or plant scientist.
